Step 4: Filling In the Character Profile

This screen decides how your character behaves. You set appearance, personality traits, speech style, backstory and how the character relates to you.

Each of these is a separate field rather than one big prompt box. That makes it easy to change one thing later without rewriting everything. If you use AI assisted creation, these fields arrive filled in and you can edit them.

Step 5: Setting Up Your Chat Profile

We ran a 45 minute roleplay across three location changes with two active characters. The model followed all of it, kept both characters sounding different, and never invented a detail we had not given it.

The bigger issue is who can use it. The only listed video quota sits on the €99.99 plan. The team says longer clips and higher resolution are coming.

Three character scenes held together better than we expected, with each voice staying separate instead of collapsing into one. Linking up to four public Kyns to a scenario makes stories possible that single character platforms cannot handle. The catch is you need Deluxe or above.

1. Unlimited messages start at Premium: Just Chatting stops at 5,000 messages. Premium, Deluxe and Deluxe Plus have no message cap, no rolling quota and no speed limit. We sent over 900 messages in one week on Premium and never hit anything.

2. Unlimited Kyns applies to every paid plan: Build as many characters as you want.

3. Unlimited images are Deluxe only: Premium gives 300 quota units, which works out to around 1,800 images. Just Chatting gives 5 units, so about 30 images.

4. Unlimited voice is Deluxe only: Premium gives 300 voice messages a month. Just Chatting gives 5.

Free Tier Against Paid Tier

The gap between free and paid on Soulkyn is wider than on almost any competitor, and this changes how you should judge the platform.

Video is not simply included on all paid plans. Deluxe Plus at €99.99 a month lists a 50 video monthly quota covering all qualities, plus priority generation.
