Nastia AI gives you control over the basic details of your companion without making the setup complicated. You choose a name, appearance, and starting personality, with presets available if you want to get started quickly.
The custom creation option lets you adjust details such as hair, facial features, and clothing. It works well enough for creating a character, although the visual choices are not especially extensive. After creating four companions ourselves, we began noticing the limits of the available variety, something other users have also pointed out.

That token balance is particularly important because it determines how much you can use the platform each day. It is easy to overlook when you first start using Nastia AI, but you will quickly notice its importance once your balance starts dropping.
How Tokens Get Used Up
Tokens are the main limitation to keep in mind when using Nastia AI. Different actions consume different amounts from your daily allowance, with text using the fewest tokens while voice, images, and video require considerably more.
We tracked the balance before and after different actions during our testing. Image generation used between 10 and 20 tokens depending on the settings, while voice messages used around 1 token. Text replies used a smaller amount individually, but the cost can add up during longer conversations.
With a 400 token daily allowance, that could mean roughly 30 text replies if you spend nothing on other features, or around 20 to 40 images if image generation is all you use. You cannot freely combine those uses once the daily balance is exhausted, and subscribing does not remove the daily limit.

This is the core feature and the part of Nastia AI that most consistently lives up to its promises.
There are no content warnings or sudden refusals that pull the conversation out of character. The companion generally stays in role, follows the context, and responds naturally rather than falling into repetitive agreement.
One Trustpilot reviewer who rated the platform poorly overall still gave the chat experience 4.5 out of 5 and described it as exceptional. That is worth noting because the positive feedback came despite broader criticism of the platform.

2. Group Chats With Several Companions
Nastia AI also lets you bring multiple companions into the same conversation. You can watch different characters interact while taking part yourself, and setting up a group chat takes only a few moments.
The downside is the token cost. Each companion uses tokens during exchanges, so adding more characters can make your daily allowance disappear much faster. A four character conversation can therefore become expensive if you use it for an extended session.
One Trustpilot reviewer also noted that while the feature is available, the responses can still feel more suited to one on one conversations than fully developed group interactions.

Nastia AI lets you request images directly during a conversation with your companion. The generated image appears inside the chat, while the separate image generator provides additional controls for things such as the scene and lighting.

Reliability is the bigger concern. We found that voice messages were not always dependable, and other users have reported problems with audio failing to play. The feature is also tied to a paid plan.
5. AI Video Generation
Video generation is one of the features Nastia AI promotes most heavily, but it was also one of the least reliable features we tested.
The official install page advertises HD video generation at 1080p. We attempted video generation 12 times and received usable results only twice. Other attempts failed, produced results that did not match the request, or remained stuck loading.
Independent reviewers have reported similar problems, including complaints that the feature did not work properly throughout their testing.

6. Language Support
Nastia AI supports more than just English. The install page lists 16 supported languages, giving users the option to interact with companions in several different languages.
We briefly tested Spanish and French and noticed that the quality was weaker than in English. This is not particularly surprising for a smaller platform, but English remains the strongest option based on our testing.
7. The Progressive Web App
Instead of relying on a traditional app store download, Nastia AI uses a Progressive Web App. You can add the platform to your phone's home screen through your browser, where it behaves much like an installed application while using less than 1MB of storage.

Nastia AI explains that this approach allows it to avoid the content restrictions and approval requirements associated with major app stores. Nastia AI's image generator is one of its most talked about features, but it is also where we found the biggest difference between what the platform promises and what it actually delivers.
While the marketing focuses on realistic and unrestricted images, the results can vary considerably from one generation to another.
What The Image Generator Produces
The official site advertises photorealistic images with up to 4K quality. In practice, the output was much less consistent. Some images looked sharp and convincing, while others had a noticeably artificial or stylised appearance that was closer to anime than realistic photography.
Other users have reported similar problems. One Trustpilot reviewer gave image and video generation 1 out of 5 and said their prompts were largely or completely ignored. Another user specifically requested a refund after receiving anime style images instead of the realistic results they expected.
Character Consistency Across Images
Keeping the same companion looking consistent from one image to another is another weak point.
One Trustpilot reviewer said that after their companion was generated with red hair, the image generator continued producing red hair regardless of what the prompt requested. Even asking for blonde hair reportedly resulted in the same red haired appearance.
We experienced a milder version of the same problem. Nastia AI appears to give considerable weight to the companion's original appearance settings, meaning prompts that conflict with those settings may be ignored. Changing an outfit or scene sometimes worked, but the generator could also override the request and stick to the character's established appearance.

Image generation does not simply come with your subscription. Each image also uses tokens from your daily allowance, making the actual cost of this feature important to understand before you start generating images regularly.

The subscription price is not the full cost of using Nastia AI's image generator. Your actual spending can include the subscription plus any additional token packs you need once you start generating images regularly. The official description gives no numbers. From our own testing, the free allowance is enough to hold real conversations and generate a small handful of images per day. It is enough to judge conversation quality properly, which is the main thing you should be judging.
Spend at least a week here before paying anything.

Payment, Renewal And Refunds
The billing terms, which matter more here than on most platforms.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel. The terms state that purchases are non refundable, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term rather than immediately. Payment runs on cards and the charge appears under the Nastia Cybernetics name rather than Nastia AI.
That last detail causes real problems. Several billing complaints appear to start with people not recognising the charge on their statement.
Nastia AI Mobile Apps
The mobile app situation is one of the most important things to understand before using Nastia AI. The company does not offer a traditional native mobile app, yet searching the major app stores brings up several apps using the Nastia AI name. That creates a real risk of downloading the wrong product.

We also found at least two other Google Play listings using the Nastia AI name from different publishers. This type of confusion is not unique to Nastia AI.

The situation is similar on iOS, although the ratings are even lower.
The Nastia AI listing we found was published by a developer named Numan Durrani and had a rating of around 1.3 out of 5 before being renamed.
The reviews also make it clear that users were questioning whether the app was connected to the actual Nastia AI platform. One reviewer said the app was not made by the web based Nastia AI image generator and criticised the poor image quality. Another reported paying for a subscription without receiving the expected service.
